The initial styles of dance that Annabella had been exposed to as a young mover were Ballet, Contemporary and Modern Jazz. During high school, Annabella took it upon herself to indulge in not only her school's dance company but the theatre company as well. She spent those integral years training in both disciplines and she was honoured to graduate with a legendary reward that reflected such dedication to the performing arts - Overall Artist of Grad Class!

As a thriving artist, Annabella has been dancing and choreographing for numerous music videos, films and live performances within Canada. Annabella also works diligently to curate movement workshops and classes for the various levels of students she teaches around the city. 

The Wookiez hail from Vancouver, BC. They consist of beatbox artists CiMaX and Vino. Both initially met through a small group of beatboxers that is now called the WCG (West Coast Groove). CiMaX and Vino are frequent competitors at the annual Canadian Beatbox Championships placing 2nd in 2018 & 2019. After a long hiatus of the Championships due to COVID, The Wookiez have snagged the title of Canadian Beatbox Champion in 2023, making them the first beatbox Champions from Vancouver. 

Their beatbox performance style is mainly influenced from Hip-hop and electronic roots while also challenging and expanding their soundset across many experimental genres. At the moment, CiMaX is currently in works to organize the 5th Annual Vancouver Beatbox Championships and hopes to inspire a new generation of beatboxers in the lower mainland. Vino is currently competing across the globe with tours in Toronto, France, and Germany for the World Beatbox Championships. 

Fergus Dalton is a Métis dancer who performs and teaches traditional Metis Jigging all across the Lower Mainland. Starting from a young age, Fergus began learning from Lisa Sheppard as one of the Maple Sugar Jiggers. Since then, he has adapted to solo performing and teaching, and carries on the cultural tradition, interlacing stories and history into his performances.

Thistlebrook Academy was started in 2014 by Meghan Pike. They are a Scottish Highland Dance studio offering classes for all ages and abilities. The dancers participate in competitions, exams, and performances across the pacific north west. Their studio motto is "Building confidence and community through dance" and they are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year! 

"Los Grandes" is a norteño band based in Vancouver, Canada, founded in 2018. The group is composed of talented musicians from Jalisco, Guerrero, and Sinaloa. Known for their versatility, Los Grandes excels not only in traditional norteño music but also in performing rock in both English and Spanish. This approach has enabled the band to attract a diverse audience and establish a unique presence in Vancouver's music scene.

Since beginning her professional career as an artist, songwriter and producer in late 2021, Nette's relatable lyrics, sparkling vocals and swiftie-inspired production have landed her over one million streams across online platforms and 200,000 followers on TikTok. Her growing following has given her oportunities to perform at The Barnside Harvest Festival 2023 and headline Maple Ridge Canada Day 2023. Recently she was a finalist in MRG's Elevate Music Project with the March 7th finale performance taking place at the historical Vogue theatre in Vancouver. Nette’s first single of 2024 “I’m so lucky” released Feb. 9th - setting the tone for a “lucky” year ahead of new music and performances.

Pat Calihou is a Métis artist best known for carving Métis style paddles, canoes, Métis playgrounds and traditionally built red river carts. You can see some of his recent work including and most recently a full size replica york boat and a full size red river cart located within the walls of Fort Langley National Historic site.

Terrance is 18 year old  4x Canadian Yoyo Champion. He is a self taught yoyo performer. He has been yoyoing since he was 7 years old. Terrance competes nationally and internationally. Last year he achieved top 10 in World Yoyo Championship on Osaka, Japan. Terrance plans to continue his yoyo journey by performing, competing and sharing his passion in yoyo. He wishes to become a World Yoyo Champion in the near future.

Wayne Lavallee is a Métis singer-songwriter, actor from Vancouver, raised in Surrey BC. Releasing the album Green Dress in 2004, he won the Canadian Aboriginal Music Award for album of the year in 2004. He was a Juno Award nominee for Aboriginal Recording of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2005, and won the Canadian Folk Music Award for Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year at the 2nd Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2006.

In recent years he has composed music for theatre, film and television, including the films The Road Forward, Red Snow, Bones of Crows. He also received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Original Song at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards in 2023 for "You Are My Bones", a song cowritten with Marie Clements and Jesse Zubot for Bones of Crows. New album set to be released fall 2024.

Will Stroet of Will's Jams is a JUNO-nominated musician, nationally recognized educator and former CBC Kids TV star. His high-energy rock-pop music in English and French is full of witty wordplay and sing-along choruses, inspiring kids to be active, creative, caring and community-minded.  

Will’s 12 albums in English and French have garnered national acclaim, including a 2017 JUNO nomination, 7 nominations from the Western Canadian Music Awards, 3 from the Canadian Folk Music Awards and 2 from the SiriusXM Indies. In 2015, UBC’s Faculty of Education honoured Will in their top 100 Alumni awards.
